• Platform APIs: Build and maintain production REST services in Python 3.13 and FastAPI for submitting, tracking and managing ML and data workloads, with Pydantic validation, MongoDB persistence and cron-style workflow scheduling.
• Distributed compute: Deploy and operate KubeRay on Amazon EKS (operator, API server and internalized images) to run Ray and Spark workloads as RayCluster, RayJob and RayService resources, with autoscaling head/worker groups and GPU scheduling for ML training and inference.
• Orchestration & GitOps: Orchestrate pipelines with Argo Workflows and Argo Rollouts (CronWorkflows, controllers, pod GC) and ship declaratively through Argo CD across dev, test and prod clusters.
• Kubernetes packaging: Author Helm charts for shared ingress and gateway configuration (gateway listeners, TLS certificates, DNS) and platform bootstrap components.
• Infrastructure as Code: Extend layered Terraform modules that onboard services onto the platform (IAM, DNS, gateways, RDS, MongoDB Atlas, S3), shipped as versioned module updates reviewed via plan diffs and validated in a test environment before production.
• CI/CD: Design GitHub Enterprise Actions pipelines for multi-service Docker builds and an image-internalization pipeline that mirrors external images into private ECR registries with dev/prod promotion; wrote reusable composite actions consumed by downstream workflows.
• Release & quality automation: Automate releases with release-please and uv lockfile sync, manage repo settings as code (branch protection, required checks), and enforce quality with ruff, mypy and pytest/pytest-asyncio suites, including integration tests against Kubernetes.

Internship focused on software engineering practices and development fundamentals.

Curricular internship: worked on a project developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps. The formative approach of the project accelerated my acquisition of platform knowledge, and the experience gave me an in-depth understanding of team dynamics and how to act effectively in a professional, formal environment.
